Budgeting is an expectation, and used as a tool to evaluate where you are going. When you don’t meet those expectations, there is a problem and knowing is half the battle. Creating a budget you can evaluate on a regular basis illuminates problems and shows where to focus your energy. More focused energy means more efficiency and a better bottom line.
Sounds great, right? Except you’ve never made a budget, you don’t know where to start or how to use one and suddenly you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed. This presentation will show you how to get started quickly and simply.
Presenter: Kristin Graham, CVPM Kristin Graham built her experience through a varied background as a Career Recruiter, Residential Property Manager and Director of Finance in a referral and 24-hour emergency practice. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University which helped prepare her to specialize in recruitment, client service, and financial management. She earned her designation as a CVPM in 2013 and has been steadily building her experience in her current position as a Practice Consultant with AAHA. She spends her time promoting the veterinary community volunteering for the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation and received VHMA's prestigious Emerging Leaders scholarship in 2013.
